NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PATNA Recruitment to the following non- teaching Posts 2020

Application in the prescribed format are invited from Indian Nationals for recruitment to the following non- teaching posts on regular/deputation/short term contract basis at National Institute of Technology Patna, Ashok Rajpath, Patna-800 005.

Name of Posts :- 

  • Superintendent :- 08 Posts (Gen-03,EWS-01,OBC-02,SC-01,ST-01)
  • Junior Assistant  :- 16 Posts  (Gen-07,EWS-01,OBC-05,SC-02,ST-01)

Education Qualification :- 

  • Superintendent :- First Class Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline Or Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade ii) Knowledge of Computer applications viz., Word processing, Spread Sheet.
  • Junior Assistant  :-  Senior secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.

Maximum Age Limit :- 

  • Superintendent :-  30 years
  • Junior Assistant  :- 27 years

Application Fee :- 

  • Gen / OBC/EWS ₹ 400/-
  • SC/ ST ₹ 200/-

How to Apply :- The candidates are required to submit the application and requisite fee through online portal only (www.nitp.ac.in). The online portal shall remain open from 11.01.2020 to 11.02.2020. After successful online submission of application a print out of the application form along with self-attested supporting documents is to be sent to the Registrar, National Institute of Technology Patna, Ashok Rajpath, Patna 800 005, by speed-post / registered post so as to reach on or before 17.02.2020 up to 5.30 PM. Before submission of online form the candidates are advised to carefully read the “Instructions for online submission of form” available on the online portal and “General Instructions to the Candidate” enclosed herewith.

  • Opening date for submission of online application 11.01.2020
  • Last date of submission of online fee 10.02.2020 till 5:30 PM
  • Last date for submission of online application 11.02.2020
  • Last date of submission of print out of application along with supporting documents 17.02.2020 till 5:30 PM

The application submission involves two steps

Step 1. Payment

  1. Go to http://exam.nitp.ac.in:9001/OtherPayment.aspx for payment.

Important: Please be very careful while entering mobile, email id and category. These fields should match while entering details in the application form in the next step. In case of discrepancy, your application may be rejected and your application fees may be forfeited.

  1. After payment, take a screenshot/scan image of the payment receipt. The payment receipt can also be retrieved from http://exam.nitp.ac.in:9001/RecrurmentReceipt.aspx
  2.  Note down the transaction id and date of payment. These will required while filling the next step.

Step 2. Application submission

  1. This step can be done only after making payment because payment details are required to be submitted in this step.
  2. Fill the application form available at: https://forms.gle/d2uR2PUeRW8qzS4T9

Important: Please be very careful while entering the payment details. In case of discrepancy, your application may not be considered and your application fees may be forfeited.

  1. After application submission, within a few minutes, you will receive a confirmation email with your filled application form attached as PDF. This needs to be sent to NIT Patna along with other required documents as mentioned in the advertisement notice.
