Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR is a lead Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation situated at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR has facilities of Solid Propellant Production, a Rocket Motor Static Test Facility and Launch Complexes for variety of rockets, rocket tracking through sophisticated radar and optical tracking systems and real time data acquisition and processing facilities and other support services including logistics

SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota has 54 bedded multi specialty hospital with dedicated Lab, Radiology Department, which is going to be upgraded, TMT, ECHO, Endoscopy, Telemedicine etc., requires dynamic and committed medical professional to support the medical requirement of ISRO employees and dependants stationed at SDSC SHAR.

Education Qualification :-  B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering in First class with an aggregate minimum of 65% of marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 point scale. Minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone for candidates with AMIE/Grad IETE qualification.

Name of the Post :- Medical Officer ‘SC’ (Orthopaedics) /  Medical Officer ‘SD’ (Orthopaedics) [01 Post]
Education Qualification :-  M.B.B.S + Diploma in Orthopaedics (Two years duration) recognized and registered with Medical Council of India /M.B.B.S + M.D/ DNB in Orthopaedics recognized and registered with Medical Council of India (OR) M.B.B.S + Diploma in Orthopedics (Two years duration) recognized and registered with Medical Council of India with five years experience.

Selection Process: Candidates meeting the norms will be shortlisted for Interview. The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates eligible to be called for Interview. Based on the academic performance of the candidates applied, number of vacancies, number of candidates applied etc., initial screening will be done to short-list candidates for Interview. Final selection will be based on the performance of the candidates in the interview and those who secure minimum 60% marks in the interview will be eligible for consideration for empanelment in the selection panel, in the order of merit.

• Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID and Mobile Number of the applicant are to be furnished in the application compulsorily.
• Candidates are not required to send the confirmatory copy.
• The on-line application has to be invariably followed up with a copy of “No Objection Certificate” from the Employer concerned in respect of those applicants who are employed under Central/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating the name, the post for which applied/Post No. and Regn.
