An Indian Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted under the aegis of Headquarter Recruiting Zone, Bangalore by Army Recruiting Office, Calicut at Govt Stadium Kavaratti, UT of Lakshdweep from 24 November 2017 to 28 November 2017 to enroll eligible candidates into the Indian Army from UT of Lakshadweep & Mahe in the categories of Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, Soldier Tradesmen. Candidates will have to apply online only on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 09 October to 12 November 2017. It is essential to mention Aadhar Card details in online application. Candidates who apply online for the Rally successfully will be able to Download Their Admit Card after 14 November 2017 from www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates are requested to print their admit card neatly and bring it to the rally site. The admit card should be handled with care and neither folded nor crumpled. Candidates are allowed to apply for only one trade.
INDIAN ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY LAKSHADWEEP 2017-18
Recruitment Programme. Date and time of appearing for the Rally will be intimated to the candidates on their registered e-mail ID and will also be mentioned on the Admit Card. Candidates are advised to come fully prepared to the Rally for appearing in running test, physical fitness tests and physical measurement tests.
Medical Exam of Candidates. Primary medical examination will be carried out at Rally site with effect from 25 November 2017.

Educational qualification :- 10+2 Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject. OR 10th class pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate if 3 yrs Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE recognized institute.
Age Limit :- 17 years 06 months to 23 years. - Category :- Soldier Nursing Assistant
Educational qualification :- 10+2/Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 40% marks in compulsory subjects and minimum 50% marks in aggregate. OR B.Sc Degree (Botany/ Zoology/ Bio Science) and English (simple pass). Stipulation of marks laid down at 10+2 level will not be applicable for B.Sc degree. However, the candidate should have studied all the four specified subjects in Class XII also.
Age Limit :- 17 years 06 months to 23 years. - Category :- Soldier General Duty
Educational qualification :- 10th pass Should have secured minimum 33% marks in each subject and 45% in aggregate in class X. In case of higher education, stipulation of percentage is waived off. For State Education Board including CBSE who have adopted Grading Systems. For CBSE, Min of D grade (33-40) in indl subjects and overall aggregate of C-2 grade or 4.75 pts be considered eligible for recruitment as Soldier General Duty with marks stipulation.
Age Limit :- 17 years 06 months to 21 years. - Category :- Soldier Tradesman
Age Limit :- 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Educational qualification :-- 8th Class Pass. For House Keeper, Mess Keeper & Syce.
- 10th Class Pass. For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood Work), Artisan (Metallurgy), Support Staff(ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass/ITI
qualification in respective trades except Trade of House Keeper and Mess Keeper
- Category :- Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical
Age Limit :- 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Educational qualification :-- Should have secured minimum 50% marks in each subject and minimum 60% marks in aggregate in class XII.
- Should have studied English and Math/Accts/Book Keeping in Class XII or class X and should have secured minimum 50% marks in each of these subjects, whether studied in Class XII or X
- Even if a candidate is graduate or has a higher qualification, percentage marks scored in Class XII would be applicable towards his eligibility.
Registration. All candidates are required to register themselves online on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and apply online from 05 Oct to 07 Nov 2017. It is essential to mention Aadhar Card details in online application. Domuments Required. Candidates will bring Original and two photocopies of following documents at the
rally site.
- Admit Card. Black & White LASER PRINTED Admit Card is required which they will carry to
the rally site for admission into the rally ground. - Education Certificate. Registration Card, Admit Card, Marks Sheets and Board Certificates
of 10th/12th and Graduation Degree should have been from recognized Board and University. All
candidates will carry the SLC & CLC - Nativity (Domicile) Certificate. Issued by DC/DM Office. NO TATKAL NATIVITY CERTIFICATE WILL BE ACCEPTABLE.
- Caste Certificate. Issued by DC/DM Office for Schedule Tribes and for other Caste issued by
Sarpanch/Ward Parishad otherwise candidature will be rejected. - Sports Certificate. National/State/District level sports certificate if any (issued within two years).
- NCC Certificates. Original NCC A, B & C certificate and certificate of participation in Republic
Day Parade, New Delhi. - Character Certificate. :- CHARACTER CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY SP IS MANDATORY, SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN SIX MONTHS OLD AS ON 04 OCT 2017., CHARACTER CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY MUKHIA WILL NOT ACCEPTED.
- 20 colour photographs from normal camera with white shirt and sky blue background. Candidates
not having latest colour photo OR photo not matching their appearance including hair/beard or
Candidates with shaved head will be rejected. The photograph should not be older than 6 months from
the date of the rally. - Identity proof to include original Aadhar Card / any other recognized document.
Selection Procedure. The tests as mentioned below are mandatory for all: –
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Medical.
- Common Entrance Examination.
