Educational qualification :- The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess lTl in relevant trades approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limits :- Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years , which is the cut off date for receiving application . The Upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates as per extant rules and as amended from time to time .
Mode Of Selection
- The Selection of Candidates will be made on the Basis of merit List prepared based on the percentage of Marks obtained by the candidates in Matriculation Examination or 10th Class or its equivalent with Minimum 50% (aggregate) marks .
- In Case of Two Candidates having the same marks , the Candidates having older age shall be preferred . In Case the Dates of Birth are also Same , Then the Candidates who passed matriculation Exam earlier shall be Considered First .
Application Fee :- An Only Postal Order of Rs. 100/- payable to F.A & C.A.O N.F Railway as processing fee which is not refundable is to be enclosed with the application form . Remittance of fee in any other form will not be accepted No. Fee is required to be paid by SC/ST/PH/ Woman Candidates.

The Fee Can also be Paid in the form of Account Payee Demand draft drawn from any Nationalized Bank in Favour of F.A & C.A.O N.F Railway , and payable at SBI / Mailgaon , Branch
