Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Guntur from 03 January 2018 to 13 January 2018 at Municipal Stadium Kadapa to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from seven districts of Andhra Pradesh viz, Kadapa, Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore & Prakasam in Soldier Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman Categories. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry(UT) and Andaman and Nicobar Group of Island who have already applied for Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher (All Arms) will also attend the rally. Candidates will have to apply online through Mee Seva or any personal computer with internet facility or cyber cafes on the official web site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 19 November 2017 to 18 December 2017. Admit card will be issued online after 22 December 2017. Candidates are requested to bring their admit card and application at the rally site. Date of reporting at rally site will be intimated on admit card. Candidates to take the print out of admit card after 22 December 2017 from www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Educational qualification :- 10+2 /Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each Subject.
Age Limit :- 17 Yrs 6 months to 23 Years - Category :- Soldier Technical (Avn/Amn) Examiner
Educational qualification :- 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. (OR) Three year Diploma in Engg(Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Sience and Electronics & Instrumentation Engg) from a recognised polytechnic / Institute / ITI (No education relaxation for this catgory is existing presently).
Age Limit :- 17 Yrs 6 months to 23 Years - Category :- Soldier General Duty
Educational qualification :- 10th pass with min 33% in each subject / C2 Grade or 4.75 Points in Grade System and 45% marks in aggregate except additional subject 10+2 simple pass in all subject. Stipulated marks percentage will be waived off for 10+2 and higher education qualification.
Age Limit :- 17 Yrs 6 months to 21 Years - Category :- Soldier Tradesman
Educational qualification :-- 8th Class Pass. For House Keeper, Mess Keeper and Syce
- 10th Class Pass. For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood work), Artisan (Metallurgy) Suport Staff (ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass / ITI qualification in respective trades. Only candidates who have undertaken Class X Board Exam would be considered.
Age Limit :- 17 Yrs 6 months to 23 Years
- Category :- Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher (All Arms)
Educational qualification :-- Graduate in any discipline
- 10+2 for remustering candidate
- In addition requisite qualification in his own religious denomination
Age Limit :- 27 Yrs to 34 Years for Civil Candidates OR 25 Yrs to 34 Years for remustering Candidates
Domuments Required. Candidates will bring Original and two photocopies of following documents at the rally site.
- Admit Card. Black & White LASER PRINTED Admit Card is required which they will carry to
the rally site for admission into the rally ground. - Education Certificate. Registration Card, Admit Card, Marks Sheets and Board Certificates
of 10th/12th and Graduation Degree should have been from recognized Board and University. All
candidates will carry the SLC & CLC - Nativity (Domicile) Certificate. Issued by DC/DM Office. NO TATKAL NATIVITY CERTIFICATE WILL BE ACCEPTABLE.
- Caste Certificate. Issued by DC/DM Office for Schedule Tribes and for other Caste issued by
Sarpanch/Ward Parishad otherwise candidature will be rejected. - Sports Certificate. National/State/District level sports certificate if any (issued within two years).
- NCC Certificates. Original NCC A, B & C certificate and certificate of participation in Republic
Day Parade, New Delhi. - Character Certificate. :- CHARACTER CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY SP IS MANDATORY, SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN SIX MONTHS OLD AS ON 04 OCT 2017., CHARACTER CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY MUKHIA WILL NOT ACCEPTED.
- 20 colour photographs from normal camera with white shirt and sky blue background. Candidates
not having latest colour photo OR photo not matching their appearance including hair/beard or
Candidates with shaved head will be rejected. The photograph should not be older than 6 months from
the date of the rally. - Identity proof to include original Aadhar Card / any other recognized document.
Selection Procedure. The tests as mentioned below are mandatory for all: –
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Medical.
- Common Entrance Examination.
Recruitment Programme. Date and time of screening of documents, physical fitness test, physical measurement test will be mentioned on their Admit Card.
