The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Mere issue of Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.

Verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents is taken up only after the candidate has qualified for interview/Personality Test.

VACANCY DETAILS

Total No. of Posts :390 vacancies

      • National Defence Academy : 335 vacancies (208 for Army, 55 for Navy and 72 for Air Force)EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

 

      • Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 55 vacanciesEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : :12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

 

      • APPLICATION FEE The candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) [except SC/ST candidates and those specified in Note-2 of Para 4 of the Notice who are exempted from payment of fee] either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

 

      • Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd July, 1998 and not later than 1st July, 2001 are eligible.
