Calcutta High Court VACANCY DETAILS :- 

Online applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible Indian citizens possessing knowledge in the vernacular of the State for the preparation of a panel for filling up the existing and expected vacancies of 221 posts of Group D( Farash /Peons /Orderly /Barkandaz /Darwan/ Night Guard/ Cleaner) on the Original Side and on the Appellate Side establishments of the High Court at Calcutta. The appointments will initially be made on purely temporary basis but are likely to be made permanent.

Name of posts :-Group-D (Group-D (Farash /Peons /Orderly /Barkandaz /Darwan/ Night Guard/ Cleaner)

Educational Qualification:-

• Must have passed Class – VIII. Graduate candidates are not be eligible to apply.
• Must have knowledge of reading and writing Bengali and English.

Scale of Pay:- Pay Band-1 i.e. Rs. 4900/- — Rs. 16,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1700/- along with other allowances as admissible under the relevant rules.

Age Limit :-

1. Age not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January, 2018 (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of S.C. and S.T. candidates of West Bengal only). In case of Persons with disabilities, the upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years.
2. Candidates belonging to Ex-serviceman will get upper age relaxation as per the existing Government Rules.

Application Fee:-

• SC/ST for the State of West Bengal :- Examination Fees Rs.150 /- (+ bank charges extra).
• All other categories of candidates mentioned in the classification of vacancies (under point 3) those who are applying directly :- Examination fee Rs.400/- (+ bank charges extra)
