The Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited (TSTRANSCO) with Headquarters at
Hyderabad, caters to the transmission needs of the Telangana State with 2,696 C.km of 400 KV
transmission lines, 6,907 C.km of 220 KV transmission lines and 10,398 C.km of 132 KV transmission
lines. The Transmission network also comprises of 11 Nos. 400 KV Substations, 72 Nos. 220 KV
Substations and 214 Nos. 132 KV Substations. Further strengthening is in progress with 18 Nos. 400
KV Substations, 34 Nos. 220 KV Substations and 90 Nos. 132 KV Substations.

Age Limit:- Candidates age should be between 18-44 years as on 01-07-2017. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST/ BC, 10 years for Physically Handicapped persons as per rules.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University as detailed below or equivalent thereto, as specified in the relevant Service Rules of TSTRANSCO as on the date of Notification.

Assistant Engineer / Electrical :- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Assistant Engineer / Civil :- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Civil Engineering.
Assistant Engineer / Telecom :- Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Telecommunication / Electronics /Electronics & Communication Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electronics & Communication Engineering.

AGE Limit :- Minimum 18 years and maximum 44 years. The age is reckoned as on 01.07.2017 .
AGE RELAXATION :- The Upper age limit is raised up to 10 years i.e., from 34 to 44 years as per
the G.O.Ms.No.190, GA (Ser.A) Dept.Dt:08.08.2017 as adopted vide T.O.O. (Jt. Secy.- Per)Ms.No.127, dt.24.08.2017.

Application Fee: (Remittance of fee) :- Each applicant must pay Rs.100/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities and PH are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Mode of Payment of fee :- .Candidate has to visit the website http://tstransco.cgg.gov.in to view the detailed notification and User Guide. The fee mentioned at Para- I (5)(a) is to be paid online by visiting the link MAKE PAYMENT in the website duly following online instructions .

How to Apply :- Eligible candidates may apply online through the website tstransco.cgg.gov.in or www.tstransco.in from 01-02-2018 to 16-02-2018 upto 11:59 pm.
