Rail Wheel Factory administration proposes to engage candidates to under go training for the Year 2017 – 18 under the Apprenticeship Act , 1961 , in the following designated trades :-

Rail Wheel Factory Vacancy Details:-

Total No. of Posts: 192 Vacancies 

Name of the Posts: Apprentice

Name of the Trades:
1. Fitter: 85 Posts
2. Machinist: 31 Posts
3. Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): 08 Posts
4. Turner: 05 Posts
5. CNC Programming-cum-Operator (COE Group): 23 Posts
6. Electrician; 18 Posts
7. Electronic Mechanic: 22 Posts

Educational qualification :- Candidates who have passed Matriculation or its equivalent (with Minimum 50% Marks) and Passed ITI in the above -designated  trade will be engaged to undergo training .

Age Limits :- Candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years as on 29.11.2017 , which is the cut off date for receiving application . The Upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case of OBC candidates as per extant rules and as amended from time to time .

HOW TO APPLY :-   The Applications filled in all respects can either be  dropped in the sealed Drop Box kept in the Office of the Chief Personal Officer , Rail Wheel Factory , Yelahanka , Bangalore – 560064, on all the working days . i.e from Monday to Friday between 09:00 to 16:50 Hrs and Saturday Between 9.00 to 12.00 hrs or Sent by Registered Post only to the below mentioned address duly superscribing on the cover as “Application for undergoing training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 for the year 2017-18 in Rail Wheel Factory. “

Mode Of Selection 

• The Selection of Candidates will be made on the Basis of merit List prepared based on the percentage of Marks obtained by the candidates in Matriculation Examination or 10th Class or its equivalent with Minimum 50% (aggregate) marks .
• In Case of Two Candidates having the same marks , the Candidates having older age shall be preferred . In Case the Dates of Birth are also Same , Then the Candidates who passed matriculation Exam earlier shall be Considered First .
• The List of Selected Candidates will be displayed online At www.rwf.indianrailways.gov.in
