Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) , Henceforth Mentioned as KVS , an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development ,Goverment of India invites online application form indian Citizens for filling up the vacancies of Teaching Posts in Kendriya Vidyalayas of North Eastern Zone by Direct Recruitment through Special Recruitment Drive .North Eastern ZOne of KVS Comprises of Assam , Meghalaya ,Arunachal Pradesh ,Nagaland ,Manipur ,Mizoram and Tripra State .

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Two Years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.OR Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects.

  • B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

(II) Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)  (GROUP- B Post)

Pay Band :- Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800 plus Grade Pay  Rs. 4800/- (Pre-Revised)

Uppar Age Limit (As On 31.10.2017):-  Maximum 40 Years

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Bachelor’s Degree with atleast50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subject and in aggregate. 

  • Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II, conducted by CBSE in  accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
  •  Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

(III) Primary Teacher (PRT)  (GROUP- B Post)

Total No. of Posts :- 220 Posts 

Pay Band :- Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800 plus Grade Pay  Rs. 4800/- (Pre-Revised)

Uppar Age Limit (As On 31.10.2017):-  Maximum 35 Years

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:- 

  1. Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
  2. Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
  3. Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.
  • For the post of Primary Teacher, the candidate should posses two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
  • The candidates having professional qualification B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) are not eligible for the post of Primary Teacher.

HOW TO APPLY

  • Candidates are required to apply Online through Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan web-site at www.kvsangathan.nic.in. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
  • Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan through its exam conducting agency may send call letters for written test, interview etc. through the registered email ID or the same may be downloaded from the designated portal. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person.
  • In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, he/she should create his/ her new email ID before applying Online.
  • Carefully fill in the complete details in online application form. Scan and upload your recent photograph and signature at the appropriate places as per instructions contained in the online application format and submit the same in Online. Registration number would be generated on successful submission of application and will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to note down their Registration number for future use.
  • . Candidates submitting their online applications from Internet-café shall doubly ensure uploading of their recent photograph and signature. Mistake, if any can not be changed after submission of online application.
  • No fee is required to be paid by candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH categories and Ex-Service men candidates; hence the steps for payment of fees will not be applicable to them in online application form. Once the fee is deposited the same shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
  • The candidates have to pay examination fee online through the prescribed link at online application. The post wise examination fee payable is as under:
    • PGTs – Rs 750/-
    • TGTs – Rs 750/-
    • Primary Teacher – Rs.750/-
