There is one piece of good news come from the Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of GST & Central Excise, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Zone, Chennai, invites online applications from meritorious sportspersons under the sports quota for recruitment to the posts of tax assistant, stenographer grade II, havaldar, and multi-tasking staff. Eligible sportspersons can apply online from 08th December 2025 to 07th January 2026.

✅ Eligibility Criteria (Meritorious Sportspersons):
Applications are invited from Meritorious Sportspersons who have represented/won medals:
- The Country in an International Competition.
- The State in a National Competition.
- The university in the Inter-University tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board.
- The State School Team in National Sports/Games for School, conducted by the All India School Games Federation, or those who have been awarded National Awards in Physical efficiency under the National Efficiency Drive.
- Khelo India University Games/Khelo India Youth Games/ Khelo India Winter Games/ Khelo India Para Games.
- Candidates must have represented the Country/ State/ University/ State School Team or awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency and participated/won medals in International/National/Inter-University/Khelo India Games in the above disciplines.
