Total No. of posts :- 198 Vacancy (UR-114, OBC-60,SC-23, ST-1)

(A) FABRICATION ASSISTANTS ON CONTRACT

  1. Welder (88 vacancies)
  2.  Sheet Metal Worker (28 vacancies)

(B)OUTFIT ASSISTANTS ON CONTRACT 

  1. Fitter/ Mechanic Motor Vehicle (04 vacancies)
  2.  Fitter Pipe (Plumber) (14 vacancies)
  3. Diesel Mechanic (02 vacancies)
  4. Painter (12 vacancies)
  5.  Machinist (01 vacancies)
  6. Shipwright Wood (10 vacancies)
  7. Electrician :- (07 vacancies)
  8. Electronic Mechanic (03 vacancies)
  9. Instrument Mechanic (03 vacancies)
  10.  Semi Skilled Rigger on contract ( 26 vacancies)
    Educational Qualification :-Pass in IV Std.

Educational Qualification :- Pass in SSLC, ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade

Age limit :- Age shall not exceed 30 years as on 30 July 2017 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per Government of India guidelines.

Method of Selection :- The method of selection will be through a Practical test. Schedule of the Practical test will be intimated to the short-listed applicants through SMS/E-mail/CSL website (careers page).

Application Fee:-

Application fee of  Rs. 100/- (Non – refundable) should be remitted using Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking) through the Online Application facility which can be accessed through our website www.cochinshipyard.com (Careers page) from 19 July 2017 to 30 July 2017. No other mode of payment will be accepted.

Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Disability (PWD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
