Post: Technical GRADE-III

Bihar State Power (Holding) Company Ltd. invites online applications from eligible candidates for appointment on the post of Technical Grade III for its Head Offices and Field Offices of its subsidiary companies, namely North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (NBPDCL), South Bihar Power Distribution Company Ltd. (SBPDCL), and Bihar State Power Transmission Company Ltd. (BSPTCL), as per the details given below:

Name of Post: Technical Grade III

Qualifications & eligibility:

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized institution. and
• Technical Qualification: Must have a 2-year ITI Certificate in Electrician Trade from any institution recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training, New Delhi (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

Age Limit (as on 31-03-2024)

• Minimum Age limit : 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit for UR (General) Candidates : 37 Years
• Maximum Age limit for SC/ST Candidates : 42 Years
• Maximum Age limit for EBC, BC, Female (UR) Candidates : 40 Years

Application Fee

• For UR/EBC/BC Candidates: Rs. 1500/-
• For SC/ST of Bihar domicile & Divyang Candidates: Rs. 375/-
• Payment Mode: Through Online

MODE OF SELECTION:

• a) CBT will be conducted for the candidates who submitted online applications in terms of advertisement.
• b) If CBT is conducted in multiple batches, the answer sheet will be evaluated using the Z-Normalized Score Method.
• c) The Minimum Qualifying Marks (%) / Normalized Score in the CBT will be 40 for UR, 36.5 for BC, 34 for EBC, & 32 for SC/ST/female candidates.
• d) A merit list will be prepared in accordance with the above para 7(c) based on marks obtained by the candidates in CBT (computer-based test).
• e) Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:1 (actual vacancy advertised) from the merit list for document and certificate verification.
• f) The final selection will be based on the report of document verification as well as its merit.
• g) A mock or demo computer-based test with only a few questions will be available on the company website (www.bsphcl.co.in) for candidates for practice and for getting familiar before the test.
• h) A syllabus is attached for CBT.

• The applicants are to apply through “ON LINE” on the website of www.bsphcl.co.in. The website will be open on April 1, 2024. After filling out the online application; candidates have to take a printout of the registration form for future reference.
