Recruitment Notice for the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Firemen (Group ‘C’)

Indian Army Job Vacancy Details :-

Name of Posts :-  Lower Division Clerk (LDC)

Total No. of Posts :-  07 Posts [04-UR,02-SC,01-OBC]

Pay Scale :- 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University.

Desirable :- Knowledge of Hindi/English.

Physical Endurance Test/ Skill Test (whichever applicable) :-  Typing speed of 35 words per minutes in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer (35/30 words per minute correspond to 10500/ 9000 key depressions per hour on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Total No. of Posts :-  08 Posts [04-UR,02-SC,02-OBC]

Pay Scale :-  Class 10th or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.

Desirable :- Knowledge of Hindi. Should qualify endurance/ physical test, & written test as set by the board.

 Physical Measurements (qualifying). :-

• Height without shoes 165 cms.
• Chest (Un-expanded) – 81.5 cms and Chest (on-expansion) – 85 cms..
• Weight – 50 Kgs (minimum).

Physical Endurance Test. :-

• Run 1.6 Km in 6 Min.
• Carrying a man of 63.5 Kgs (or suitable equivalent weight) to distance of 183 mtrs within 96 Sec
• Clearing 2.7 mtrs wide ditch landing on both feet (long jump).
• Climbing 3 mtrs vertical rope using both hands and fee.

Age limit and its relaxation.

• UR- 18 – 25 Years
• OBC – 18 – 25 Years (Age Relaxation :- 03 Years. Every candidate seeking reservation as OBC is required to submit a certificate regarding his/her OBC status and non-creamy layer status by appropriate authority.).
• SC – 18-25 Years (Age Relaxation :- 05 Years )
• ESM :- Total service rendered in Armed Forces + 3 years. (Age calculation will be held as actual service rendered to be deducted from age as on closing date of receipt application and resultant age should not exceed the prescribed maximum age i.e. 25 years, by more than three years in respective category).

How to Apply :- Candidates will forward application properly sealed, in an envelope to the address mentioned against the post applied for, through Ordinary post/ Registered post/ Speed post. Application in person will not be accepted. Candidates are requested to super scribe the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……………. on the top of envelope while sending the application form.
