आशा कार्यकर्ता  न्यूनतम योग्यता :-  आशा की न्यूनतम शैक्षणिक योग्यता आठवीं उतीर्ण होना आवश्यक है ।

आवश्यक शर्ते:-

• आशा की उम्र चयन हेतु आहूत आम सभा के दिन को न्यूनतम 25 वर्ष तथा अधिकतम 45 वर्ष होना अनिवार्य है । उम्र सीमा से संबंधित आवेदिका के पास लिखित प्रमाण पत्र होना आवश्यक है ।
• आवेदिका को संबंधित गाॅव की स्थायी निवासी होतनी चाहिए ।
• आशा गाॅव / टोले की बहु होगी या विधवा बेटी होगी । किसी भी परिस्थिति में अविवाहित लडकियों का चयन आशा के रुप में नही किया जायेगा ।
• जन प्रतिनिधियों मुखिया , पंचायत समिति के सदस्य / वार्ड सदस्य / जिला परिषद् के सदस्य आदि जन वितरण प्रणाली के विक्रेता एवं सरकारी सेवकों की रिश्तेदार यथा , बेटी / पत्नी / पुत्रबधु / पौत्रबधु का चयन आशा के रुप में नहीं किया जायेगा ।
